Female Teacher Faces Sex Charges After Being Caught With 15-Year-Old Pupil In A Dressing Room

A drama teacher has been arrested following sex allegations after she was caught with a teenage pupil in a makeshift bed in a school changing room. Jennifer Frechette and the 15-year-old were found on a yoga mat with pillows and a quilt by two security guards who heard noises coming from behind a clothing rack in the room.

Beside them were electric tealights and a Beats headphone case filled with unused condoms, according to court papers.

The boy reportedly got up and ran away but Frechette, 44, told the guards nothing happened and that the pair had been trying on costumes when they were caught on January 5 this year.

The married teacher allegedly muttered "what was I thinking", "I'm going to lose my job", legal documents seen by news outlet WFSB show.

Frechette, a teacher at Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven, Connecticut, reportedly told the guards the teen student was mature, “not a child” and had “sweet talked” her.

The boy initially said nothing happened but later told police that they had kissed and Frechette had performed oral sex on him the previous month on a classroom couch.

He reportedly told detectives that the pair exchanged texts and had planned to have sex after Frechette admitted she was no longer attracted to her husband.

Frechette was suspended from school and turned herself in after a three-month probe.

She faces two counts of sexual assault and two of risking injury to a child, court documents show.

She remains on administrative leave but is not being held in custody after posting $100,000 bail and is due to appear in court next month.
