A council in Spain has found itself in hot water after taking celebrations a bit too far - by hiring a stripper to perform at a retirement party. Now local council bosses from the city of Alcala de Henares, on the outskirts of Madrid, have been forced to issue a grovelling apology after footage of the 'festivities ' went viral.

In the video a man, alleged to be a public servant, can be seen sitting in a chair with his shirt open as a scantily clad stripper performs her sexy routine all over him.

While dozens of his colleagues look on the stripper slowly takes off her 'secretary' outfit and gradually undresses him to a chorus of cheers.

The footage has enraged commentators online and has been viewed nearly 150,000 times since it was uploaded on March 14.

Political factions in Alcala have been outraged by the sleazy affair according to the Local Spain, with some decrying how the local municipal office had been 'turned into a strip club'.
