
The 24 year old made only one Premier League start for Chelsea football club and spent time on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Everton before sealing a permanent move to Goodison Park.
Manchester United said they were “delighted” to agree a deal, and the move was “subject to a medical and personal terms”.
“A further announcement will be made in due course,” added United.
Chelsea was also in the race to resign their former striker and they even went as far as matching Manchester United’s bid but were unwilling to meet the demands of Lukaku’s agent, Mino Raiola.
