Talented Artist Defies Gravity, Balances A Car On A Vertical Stone Arrangement. Photos

 

Michael Grab, a Canadian balance artist, used a vertical stone arrangement to hold a life-size car up at Xintiandi, an upscale pedestrian road in Shanghai. The yellow car was placed in equilibrium on a pile of rocks of different shapes and sizes.

The installation in Shanghai is not Grab’s first design in China. In 2015, he balanced a large rock on top of some smaller stones at the Great Wall.

Grab’s gravity defying structures have been erected around the world, including in Sweden, Scotland, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Ukraine, and Canada.
